Tracking-Tools
We use the tracking measures listed below pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR. In this way, we strive to ensure a needs-oriented design and continuous optimization of our website. On the other hand, we use tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you. The respective data processing purposes and data categories are related to the corresponding tracking tools.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., for the purpose of needs-based design and continuous optimization of our pages. (https://about.google/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter “Google”).
In this context, pseudonymized user profiles are created and cookies are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as
- browser type/version,
- operating system used,
- referrer URL (the previously visited page),
- host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
- and time of server request,
are transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website and Internet usage for the purposes of market research and the needs-based design of these websites. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if the third parties process this data on behalf of a principal. Your IP address will never be merged with other Google data. The IP addresses are anonymized so it is not possible to link the data to a specific person (IP masking).
You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting the browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on ( https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout)
As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking on this link. An opt-out cookie will be installed that prevents future collection of your data when you visit this website. Social Media Plug-ins
On the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR, we are using social plug-ins from the social networks Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Xing and Instagram on our website in order to present our companies to as many users as possible. The underlying advertising purpose is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. The responsibility for the data protection-compliant use must be ensured by respective providers. We integrate these plug-ins by using the two-click method in order to protect visitors of our website in the best possible way.
Our website uses social media plugins from Facebook provided by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”) in order to personalize their use. We use the “LIKE” or “SHARE” button for this. This is an offer from Facebook.
When you access a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook’s servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted from Facebook directly to your browser and integrated into the website.
By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed via the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account or are not currently logged into Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can directly associate your visit to our website with your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the “LIKE” or “SHARE” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook and displayed to your Facebook friends.
Facebook can use this information for advertising, market research and needs-based design of Facebook pages. For this purpose, Facebook creates usage, interest and relationship profiles, e.g. to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the advertisements shown to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website and to provide further services associated with the use of Facebook.
If you do not want Facebook to associate the data collected via our website with your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.
The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy, can be found under the Facebook data protection information .
The list and appearance of Facebook social plugins can be viewed here .
Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement, which guarantees compliance with the European data protection: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active.
X
On our websites, we use plug-ins from the short message network X Inc. (X) by X International Unlimited Company Attn: Data Protection Officer One Cumberland Place, Fenian Street Dublin 2, D02 AX07 IRELAND.
You can recognize the X plugins (tweet button) by the X logo on our site. An overview of tweet buttons can be found here .
When you access a page on our website that contains such a plugin, a direct connection is established between your browser and the X server. X thus receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click on the X “tweet button” while you are logged into your X account, you can link the content of our pages to your X profile. This allows X to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by X. If you do not want X to be able to assign visits to our pages, please log out of your X user account.
For more information, see X ‘s privacy policy .
Functions and content of the LinkedIn service offered by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland may be integrated into our online offering. This may include, for example, content such as images, videos or text and buttons that users can use to express their satisfaction with the content or subscribe to authors of the content or our contributions. If users are members of the LinkedIn platform, LinkedIn can assign the access to the above-mentioned content and functions to the users’ profiles. LinkedIn privacy policy.
LinkedIn is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law. In this context, we also use Lead Generation Tools from LinkedIn.
Our website also uses the “share function” of the XING network. The provider of this service is XING AG, Dammtorstraße 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. If you click on the XING “share button” (plug-in), you will be logged into an existing XING user account – and redirected to your own user account in a separate browser window. In this way, the electronic publication stored on our website can be shared and a comment can be added. A direct connection can thus be established between your browser and the XING server via the plug-in. In this way XING receives the information that you have visited our website with your IP address. However, this does not mean that we have knowledge of the content of the transmitted (personal) data and its use by XING. If you require further information on the use of data via Xing, we would like to ask you to refer to XING’s privacy policy for more information: https://privacy.xing.com/en/privacy-policy.
The social plugins (“plugins”) operated by Instagram LLC., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Instagram”) are also used on our website.
The plugins are marked with an Instagram logo, for example in the form of an “Instagram camera”.
When you access a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Instagram’s servers. Instagram sends the content of the plugin directly to your browser and integrates it into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not currently logged into Instagram.
This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged into Instagram, Instagram can immediately associate your visit to our website with your Instagram account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the “Instagram” button, this information is also transmitted directly to an Instagram server and stored there.
The information is also published on your Instagram account and displayed to your contacts there.
If you do not want Instagram to directly associate the data collected via our website with your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website.
